Sacred Space
Long ago, people lived at one with nature, and the entire earth was considered sacred. This is still true for shamans, the stewards and protectors of the paradise that is earth, and the life it provides. At one point, all of earth was a sacred place, where beings could take part in amazing transformation and healing. Now, man uses the earth as he sees fit, with no respect for what he takes, or has left behind. In order for great healing to occur, we must be within a sacred space. We can create these spaces ourselves, by calling in the great primordial energies of the four directions, the earth, and the heavens. |
Moon Gate Sacred Space
This is a place I call home away from home. If there was ever a sacred place it is here, Moon Gate Guesthouse located on the outskirts of the sacred indigenous apus (mountains) called the Whiteshell. These mountains are not tall for they have been worn down by the glacial actions of billions of years, but that does not dismiss their healing powers and their ancient wisdom. Let us celebrate together in this sacred space created by the Earthkeepers Jenny and Michel Dupas.
Moon Gate is located 1 hour drive East of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The guest house is a separate space from their hosts, boasting a large space with 5 bedrooms (2 queen & 3- 2 single bedrooms), kitchen, dinning room, living space and a Finnish style sauna. The Whitemouth river winds it's way like our Serpent guide through the land. The Grand Father Sun graces us with it's rise and sunset. The Grand Mother Moon shines bright in the twinkle of the night. |

Feasts
|
Sunday, we begin our retreat with soul conversations over our feast prepared in our community of love. We will laugh, cry and celebrate our becoming and uniting in sacred feast. Together, we will smile into each others hearts while nurturing our root chakra with the healthy bounty of Mother Earth's offerings.
|
Monday morning you will receive the gift of the Humpe Karpay. This Healer’s Rite connects us to an ancient lineage of medicine women and men who encourage us towards our personal alchemy. To be a healer for others, we must know from our own experience how to transform our wounds into sources of wisdom and compassion. This lineage accompanies us on our path to harmony and well-being.

On Sunday night, Grand Mother Flower Moon is waiting to embrace us together in the flesh during her full blossom. You will meet all 13 Grand Mothers during this ceremony discovering their unique gifts they have to offer. Be ready to receive with your hearts wide open! |
Our Monday afternoon will bring us together as we make a grand offering to cultivate Ayni (right action, right relationship, right perception) for Mother Earth. This ceremony finds its roots in the Andean traditions. We honor and offer gratitude to Mother Earth for all that she gives us; her love, nourishment, protection, and home. It is done to cultivate reciprocity and harmony with the world above, below and all around us; to be in Ayni with all the organizing principles of the Universe.

Fire Ceremony
|
Fire allows for rapid transformation. It provides the avenue to honor your lessons and old beliefs structures by turning them over to Spirit, thus enabling you to heal deeply at the level of the soul without having to experience them. Fire ceremonies are typically held around the full or new moon. And look at that we are full into the Flower Moon. This is when the veil between the two worlds is the thinnest. We will transform, purify and transcend our old selves in this fire ceremony on Monday night.
