Dear Soul Sister,
Many, many years ago my guru, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar shared with us a beautiful yoga sequence called the Padma Sadna. It translates to the "Heart Lotus". This beautiful sequence of yoga poses flow like a ballerina dancer over a stage. The sequence focuses on the Root, Sacral, Solar guiding you to the Heart centres, where the lotus fully blossoms. I chose this sequence for it truly serves and supports us while we explore these centres of the body.
Your practice will look different every day as for sometimes it calls out to us to do the whole sequence as for other times we are being called to do one or two poses. There are even times where holding one pose in a supportive fashion will be what our bodies need. Again there is no right or wrong, only what your body is presently asking you to do. Check into your inner wisdom. Listen to the voice of wisdom, spirit never fails us as the answers always await our presence.
