Summer to Blooms Starts July 21st - August 11th, 2021 Virtual by Zoom 10 am to 11 am (Wednesdays) 4 Weeks
Experience the element of Water (Jala) with your yoga practice this summer. Summer months are hot, humid and can be a challenge for most of us. Adding fluidity in purposeful movement to your sequence can help cool the body. We'll also explore all corners of our mats as our sequence takes us in a clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation drawing a mandala with our feet. Let's have some fun this summer with a splash of water!
"You are about to go on a journey. It is a journey through the layers of your own self. It is a journey through your life, through the worlds within and around you. It begins here, in your own body. It begins now, wherever you are. It is your own personal quest. Make yourself comfortable, for the journey is not short. It could take months, years, or lifetimes, but you have already chosen to go. You began long, long ago...." Anodea Judith

If I was to impart one piece of wisdom that I have gained from my yoga practice is that yoga has so little to do with what poses you try to put your body in. The western world has gone way off into some crazy uncharted territory with the latest fads of goat yoga, beer yoga, hot yoga, and the like. I'm sure, as an offering, it's a very unique experience. As they say there is something for everyone. If this is something you are attracted to, by all means go out and have some fun with it. However, I will say that this unique offering through a membership is not a fad!
When I look at a tree I see the roots, the trunk, and the branches. The whole tree could be described as Ayurveda which translates to life sciences or as "the tree of life". As I take my gaze up to the branches, I recognize a branch named yoga. This is a large branch that supports 8 full limbs. The 8 limbs of yoga (Ashtanga)! The 8 limbs impart so much wisdom. Within each of those limbs, there is deeper insight into who we are as represented by more branches. I'm passionate to share the knowledge within each of 'the branches of yoga'
Your membership offers you access to my MAGIC...everything YOGA!

Spring and Fall are great seasons to have some fun through challenges. Do yourself a favor and act outside of the box once in a while to stretch your limits.
Every Sanskrit sound has a vibrational frequency. When you string these sounds together you get a symphony of sounds of all living life on Mother Earth. Yoga wisdom teaches that you can alter your state of being by chanting specific frequencies.
Literally translated Ayurveda means Life Sciences...the study of life. I have followed and studied Ayurveda for a number of years although, not formally trained. I will share the wisdom gained and how I apply it to my life.
Spring Yoga is the time to move by adding the element of fire. Poses are geared to release the stagnant winter energies.
When our bodies are struggling in the heat and humidity of the summer, a fiery practice can be to overheating. By adding flowing movements to our poses we incorporate the element of water to help cool the body.
Fall Yoga is fairly fluid, active with an introduction to some restorative pose in your class.
Winter yoga is a time to rest and restore. Using supported props we can allow the muscles and the nerves to reset.
Meditation comes in so many different formats. Learn to meditate, finding the one that is perfect for you in the moment.
This yoga is also known as the sleep yoga. Rod Stryker says it well: "Yoga Nidra allows us to reach the most profound level of relaxation possible. It opens a doorway to a place where we can see ourselves and our lives in the most positive light.”
There are plenty of food lifestyles available for everyone. We share some favorite recipes. Most recipes are gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free.
Our whole existence is only but one breath: An inhale and an exhale. Different breath techniques or practices bring different benefits. Discover a breath practice that can increase your vitality and overall well being.
"For all the types of pain that can lead to suffering there is a solution. Through opening our hearts with compassion to the pain that life brings, we can truly cure our pain and avoid our suffering. Then we can walk in the valley of love and experience the vast space within our heart." Sebastian Pole
I have spent the last 25 years practicing yoga. At the age of 50, I decided that it was time to bring yoga into my body, and forget about trying to put my body into yoga.
I have completed 350 + hrs of training with Liane Charette from Source Yoga. The style of yoga is called Vinyasa Flow. In my daily life, I practice the daily routines recommended by the sages of Ayurveda in order to share the two sister sciences with my soul sisters.
"The nature of yoga is to shine your light of awareness in the darkest corners of your body."
