Is your cup full?  We all have a basic rhythm, an internal tide that alternates between accomplishing, energetic, doing, time in the world, retreating, being time, reflective time, and creative time.  When we don't tend to all aspects of our rhythm we risk becoming zombies with no fulfilling life to speak of.

The social challenges that we face is that "spending time on oneself" feels selfish...Our society teaches us to give, give, give, but lacks in the teachings of self nourishment in order to ensure our cup is full.  Only when we allow ourselves to receive do we truly place ourselves in a position to continue to give.  The least selfish act is to practice receiving after all it is the universal law.

Customize It

We retreat for many different reasons, and whatever brings you to the point of wanting or feeling like you absolutely need to ask yourself the following questions:
  1. What is my budget?
  2. How many nights do I want or need? (minimum of 2 nights required).
  3. Is there availability during my desired dates?
  4. Do I want to eat out or in?
  5. What types of experiences will be nourishing for me during this time?
