Have you got a few hours? My story is not without its darkness and it's light.  I feel like I spent the first 25 years in the hard school of Knocks.

I HEALED these traumas; molestation, bullying, rape, abuse, self-sabotage, spiritual abuse, depression, and addictions. 

I learned many tools to assist me in my healing journey, and I know it is not over yet.  As we learn to heal our personal stories we soon discover that we also need to heal (if we choose) our ancestral wounds, and then the traumas (if we choose) of Mother Earths.

Please don't lose HEART!  When you get the hang of this "healing" stuff it gets to be an enjoyable process.  There is not a day that goes by that the pure joy of wonderment never ceases to amaze me!  The gratitude for this INCREDIBLE time of being spirit in a human body is truly a GIFT!

I've spent the last 25 years of my life mastering these tools in order for me to share them with you. For this, I am THANKFUL for, all the hardships I may have experienced.  At the end of the day, I find happiness is walking along your healing journey so that you can discover your true LIGHT!

My Spiritual Awakening


My spiritual awakening began on a trip to Bali.  At the time, much like everyone else around me, I was fixated on getting the newest and best gadgets, best job, best managerial title, stuff, stuff and more stuff.  I surrounded myself with the best things my life could afford to buy, thinking that this was happiness. The reality was that my life was empty, void of purpose and frankly it just felt obsolete. 

In the winter of 2003 my husband and I traveled to Bali, Indonesia.  It had been on our bucket list...I was searching for happiness elsewhere.  I found happiness...but not my own. I found that the Balinese are very happy and grateful people with so little to show in material belongings....this way of life shocked me  and struck a chord in my soul.  Hence began my spiritual awakening.

I am not a guru, a nun or minister.  I have no theological training. I do not practice any religion.  My beliefs are that light is love.  Love is infinite.  I am light, light as a feather, light as an angel, light within, light without.  The universe resides within me and I am in the universe. 
I am simply a snippet of something so vast, so great, so incredible.  I just am!  I am one, one with the universe, one with each other.  You and I are no different as we come from the same light.  Everything on this earth has spirit as we are all creation, creation of vibration.

Blue Feathered Stories

Blue Feathered Stories was birthed in January of 2019 where I began sharing my healer's path through stories.  The name of the podcast was inspired by my spirit name Blue Thunder Bird Woman, born of the Bald Eagle Clan.  You can listen, here on this website, Spreaker, YouTube, Spotify and many more platforms.  May my stories bring you clarity with how magical the Spirit world truly is.

My Credentials

To be really honest with you, I have spent many past lives as a Shaman.  However, in this particular life time, I started studying nature with my dad when I was 5.  From those early beginnings, I have always felt like an Earth Keeper.  My formal studies began over 10 years ago, learning Hawain Shamanism through the teachings of Huno Pono.  In 2015, I began studying with Susan Opie through the Federation of Shamanic Studies founded by Michael Harner.  Currently, I'm  studying with Alberto Villoldo, PhD - The Four Winds.
In 2016, I graduated as a Master Integrated Energy Therapy through the Centre of Being with Master Teacher, Angelika Nielding.
I began my journey with my first level of Reiki studies back in my mid 30's.
My teacher was Reiki Master Deborah Smith.  In January of 2011 I certified as a Master.  Since then, my life took me to places I could not have imagined!
I began channeling light language (also known as (sound healing, truth codes, soul talk, and star language) in 2017.  Since then, I've been studying light language with Angelika Nielding.
I've been a practicing yogi for the last 30 years.  I chose to certify at the age of 50 gifting myself with the in-depth knowledge of yoga.  I trained with the beautiful yogi, Liane Cherrett back in 2016.  I continue my studies, tallying up 350+ hours of course time.
The more you learn in life, the more you understand that you know so little.  We live in an infinite ocean of wisdom.  I will continue to learn, experience, and share until my last breath.  For the journey of embodied wisdom is the only TRUTH!
With the guidance of my mentor Elsa Janney I learned the infinte wisdom our Akashic records share with us.  Sometimes it is necessary to go into a clients records to see what is in their highest interest for type of healing or simply additional information.   Truly a magical way to serve and another tool in my pocket!
